WW2 German Russian Front Medal.  Ostmedaille.  This was an award for those who served on the East Front.  The 2nd type zinc medal is not maker marked.  Suspended from about 4 inches of original ribbon.

WW2 German Russian Front Medal.  Ostmedaille.  This was an award for those who served on the East Front.  The 2nd type zinc medal has no maker mark.  As you can see, the suspension ring is not completely closed. Suspended from about 8 inches of original ribbon.

WW2 German Wound Badge in Black.  Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. Was awarded for one or two wounds. Hollow back is not maker marked. It is magnetic. Has a thin round pin and catch. You can see where the black enamel has worn off on the front.  The back has 85 percent of the black finish remaining.  Since the enamel is worn off the round pin, this is looks like a worn badge.

WW2 German Wound Badge in Silver.  Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber. Was awarded for three or four wounds. Zinc alloy.  Solid back is not maker marked. It is not magnetic. Has a thin round pin (magnetic) and catch.

Also with this badge when I bought it on the flea market in the Saar was the accompanying Silver Wound Badge stick pin!  It is not maker marker and it is not magnetic.  It is about 50mm in length including the pin.  As you can see, the pin has bends, indicating it was worn.

WW2 German Romanian 1941 Crusade Against Communism Medal.

WW2 Romanian 1941 Crusade Against Communism Medal.  This award is often seen worn by German soldiers who fought on the Eastern Front.   Yes, it has the designer’s name, P. Grant, beneath the liberty head, so you know it is indeed a war time original medal.

The medal is in good condition and has not been cleaned
