WW2 Death Card Sterbebild Luftwaffe Pilot

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Hermann Wilhelmus. 

He suffered a flier’s death while performing a military exercise, 23 December 1938.

Back of card has rendering of Jesus. Single page single sided card measures about 2.25 x 4 inches. 

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card Sterbebild German Cross in Gold KG Richard Schneider

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Feldwebel Richard Schneider.  Painter from Waldmuenchen.

He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, Iron Cross 1st Class, Infantry Assault Badge, Russian Front Medal, Wound Badge, Romanian Order 2nd Class and German Cross in Gold.  The award of the German Cross was made 2 July 1942, when he was with 11 Company Infantry Regiment 97.

He participated in the campaigns in Poland, France, the Balkans and Russia.  He was killed 22 August 1943, by Dolgenkoja.  He was 29.

The back of the card has an angel with a soldier.  The single page, single sided card measures about 2.75 x 4.25 inches. 

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office stating he was killed in Dolgenkoja and was buried in the tomb of the unknowns in Charkow, Ukraine. 

In very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Ludwig Wensauer. Landworker from Dinzling.

Killed in France, 23 September 1943. He was 30.

Single page double sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Has a grave rendering on the back.

His Bundesarchiv record lists he was with Flugplatzkommando A 12-XII Triaqueville.

Very good condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Gefreiter Josef Sensenberger, 5 Batterie Artillerie Regiment 109.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class.

Killed by Woronesch, 25 December 1942. Badly wounded by artillery projectile to the right upper leg. He was 23.

Single page double sided card.  Measures about 2.5 x 4.5 inches.

German Graves Office lists him as dying at the main aid station Woronesh and buried in Kursk, Russia.

Has a small tear to the edge.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Stabsgefreiter Johann Hermann Schledorn, Infantry Regiment 70. 

Died in Russian POW Camp 361-2 Moscow after being held there 3 years.  The family waited 12 years to see him again and only learned of his death in 1958.  He was 31.

Back of card has rendering of Jesus. Double  page single sided card measures about 5.75 x 4.5 inches. 

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office listing him as dieing in POW Camp Beketowka by Stalingrad ,22 July 1946 and being buried in Rossoschka, Russia.

In very good condition.

Was awardd the Sudeten Medal.

Killed 2 August 1941 fighting against Russia.  He was 23.

Double page single sided card.  Measures about 6.25 x 4.5 inches.

Died of his wounds at the main aid station Sanitats Company 2-113 Tonorischtsche 32 kn north of Shitomir and buried in Shitomir, Ukraine, re. Bundesarchiv.

Used condition.

WW2 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Luftwaffe Volunteer Helmut Stockinger, Flieger in a z.b.V (special) Unit.

Killed on the West Front in the night between 19 and 20 September 1942.  He was 19.

Double page single sided card.  Measures about 6 x 4.5 inches.

Bundesarchiv lists. him as serving with Schützen Company z.b.V. Nachschübführer 7 Flieger Division.  His dog tag was Fallschirmjaeger Ersatz Batl. Stendal.  He was shot thru the liver in an accident, St. Perre de Fresner and buried in LaCambe, France.  His rank was listed as Jaeger.

OK used condition.
