WW2 German Wehrpass Baldus 18 Year Old Flieger Ersatz Unfit Ausmusterungsschein 1944

Wehrpass for Hermann Josef Baldus, born 19 November 1924, Betzdorf by Koblenz.  He was a butcher, following in his father’s footsteps.

The Wehrpass was started 12 February 1942, Neuwied.   Complete, but loose inside the cover and has wear.

He completed elementary school and was trained as a bicyclist.


When he was drafted, he underwent his initial medical exam, 12 February 1942.  He was found unfit.  He underwent subsequent medical exams, 31 January 1943, and was found unfit.  And 18 July 1944, he was classified as Ersatz Reserve IIc

Here it shows the Reichsarbeitsdienst also found him unfit, 12 February 1942.

In 1944, when he was reclassified Ersatz Reserve IIc, he trained with Flieger Ersatz Batl. XII

Listed as a student,  21 December 1944, he was finally completely released from any military service and no longer had to undergo any medical exams.

As you can see it has a piece torn away but present. It was glued onto the back page in the Wehrpass, and still is, though separate from the Wehrpass now.

Eighteen year old who was drafted into the military and subsequently released as unfit.
