Wehrpass for Christian Zimmermann, born 23 December 1901, Cologne.  He was a lawyer and an official of the court.

The Wehrpass was started 2 September 1940, Cologne.

Zimmermann completed secondary school.  He spoke French, which was school learned.


He was called to military service, 2 September 1940, and was classified fit for labor, Landwehr IIa.  28 August 1943, he underwent a subsequent physical in Luxembourg, and was found fit for garrison duty in the homeland, Ersatz Reserve IIb.  27 March 1945 (!!!), he underwent yet another physical in Naumburg, and was found fit and classified Landwehr II.

Stamps when he registered;  22 January 1943, Cologne, 8 February 1942, Luxembourg, 2 December 1944, Naumberg an der Saale.

Looks like he never served in the military, but was active in the court system both in the homeland and in Luxembourg.
