Wehrpass Voit 3
Not pictured is what I think is the original cardboard box everything was in. This is a photo of all his personal belongings. There is soap inside the soap box, 1938 chocolate inside the tin, tobacco, a Havana cigar, mirror, shaving brushes, razor blade, pipe, coin purse with zinc coins inside and some period stamps. There is a small photo albums with soldier photos and some RAD women. He had his Lehrbrief certificate as a baker. Lots of Feldpost and blank feldpost paper and envelopes.
Two letters, left, from 2 Company Panzer Aufkl. Abt. 125, stating his belongings will be sent and another letter with an inventory of everything shown above!
Postcard from the Deutsche Dienstelle dated 6 April 1946 with his grave location in Duchowschtina.
I cannot say how wonderful and complete this grouping is! There are a lot more papers and letters I have not shown here. It is truly a complete glimpse into the life of a young soldier killed on the Russian Front.
It has to be box mailed as I will keep everything in the box it was kept in for over 80 years.
