WW1 German Death Card Sterbebild Austrain  Wiodwice 1914

WW1 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Infantrymann Josef Weindl, 6 Company 11 Infantry Regiment.

Shot in the head and killed, 15 August 1915, St. Mihiel.  He was 21.

Nice uniform photo with cigarette.

Double page single sided card measures about 5 x 5.5 inches. Back has Jesus with a soldier.

German Graves Office lists him as buried in Troyon Vaux les Palameix, France, cemetery

Very good condition.

WW1 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Infantrymann Johann Bauer, 11 Company 2 Infantry Regiment.

Killed on the field of honor, 27 August 1914 in the fighting by Menil  He was 21.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4 inches. Back has Jesus.

Includes a slip from the German Graves Office listing him as killed by Luneville and buried in a mass grave in Gerbeville, France.

Good condition.

WW1 German Death Card (Sterbebild) for Army Unteroffizier Wilhelm Rutz, 12 Company 11 Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment.  Master baker’s son from Oberammergau.

Was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class.

After 3 years and 9 months true service, he was killed on the battlefield at Flanders.  He was 23.

Nice photo wearing musician swallow nests.

Double page single sided card measures about 5.5 x 4.5 inches. Back has an angel  with a soldier.

German Graves Office lists him as buried in Menen, Belgium.

Good condition.

Killed on the battlefield in Northern France, 2 October 1914. He was 25.

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4.25 inches. Back has Jesus with a soldier.

German Graves Office lists him killed by Fay and buried in a mass grave in Vermandovillers, France.

Very good condition.

Killed on the battlefield, 10 December 1914, and buried in Felsen by Wlodiwice. He was 23.

Killed in the war against France 1 November 1914, in the fighting by Arras.  He was 32.

German Graves Office lists him as killed by Arras and buried in a mass grave in St. Laurent Blangy, France.

Shot in the breast and died at the main aid station in Biache, 26 February 1916 .  He was 26. 

Single page single sided card measures about 2.5 x 4 inches. Back has Jesus  with a soldier.

Includes a German Graves Office slip listing him as buried in Neuville St. Vaast, France

Very good condition.

Killed at 1 am 7 October 1915, by Arras.  He was 6. 

Double page single sided card measures about 4.5 x 5.5 inches. Back has an angel with a soldier.

Card has two spots, which you can see in the scan. Otherwie VG.
